Come join us at the farm for our monthly Family Day. Every second Saturday of the month we provide fun and educational activities for children ranging from 2-11 years of age and adults of all ages. Family Day is a great away to spend time with your kids while exploring the garden, learning about healthy lifestyle choices, and discovering the exciting processes of the natural world. This is a unique opportunity to get your hands dirty and become better stewards of the environment as a family.
Details
Family Day is held during our volunteer workday and the farm can get very busy; we ask that there be one adult per every two children, and that guardians accompany their child at all times. We want to ensure a safe and fun experience for everyone. We invite families to stay and participate in farm tasks and our potluck lunch. Family Day is free of cost, and donations are gladly accepted for supplies and resources. For updates on our agenda for Family Day please sign up for our monthly newsletter. Sign up is located on the right side of this page. All parent’s or guardians must fill out a liability waiver on behalf of themselves and their children. Feel free to print and fill out the waiver ahead of time Veggielution Liability Waiver, or fill out the waiver when you sign in at Family Day.

Where
Veggielution Community Farm is located at the back of Emma Prusch Farm Park. Once you enter the park head all the way to the back parking lot toward the freeway. There will be handmade signs to guide you. Family Day is hosted in “The Garden.”
