General Information
Veggielution’s Farm Box provides 35 local families with fresh, local, and sustainable veggies. All participating families will receive a weekly box of Veggielution produce throughout the 2012 Summer and Fall seasons.
Individuals or families can subscribe to the Farm Box program from June 5 2012, 2011 to November 6, 2012 for Sponsor Share and Family Share. Each week, participants will receive a large box with a variety of vegetables that are seasonally available on the farm.
This year, Veggielution will be expanding the Farm Box Program while continuing to farm on the same amount of land as last year. We also plan to expand the Family Share portion of our program to serve more low-income families – this season 30 families will be part of the Family Share program and the 5 available Sponsor Shares will help subsidize the cost of the Family Shares.

Family Shares
Eat farm fresh, natural, and healthy food and save money!
Family boxes are available from June 5 , 2012 to November 6, 2012. Hurry, there are only 30 Family Shares available for the price of $15 per week! Participants will be able to pay for their box of vegetables using Food Stamps (EBT)
How does it work?
Our Family Shares are reserved for 30 families that live in the 95116 or 95112 zip code, or receive Food Stamp (EBT) benefits. Each week, families will receive a large box with a variety of vegetables that are currently available on the farm. Once you have enrolled, you will be able to pick up your box of produce at the farm each week on Tuesdays from 2pm-6pm. You will receive a newsletter at the start of each month with the list of produce that will be available. The newsletter provides you with information about produce varieties, recipes, and produce storage tips. You will also have the opportunity to participate in monthly cooking classes. The share is enough to provide vegetables for a family of 4 for a week.
Sign Up and Payment
Participants will be asked to sign a contract committing to the program for its entire length (June 5 – November 6 2012) Participants will also be required to attend an orientation meeting from 3-5pm, Tuesday May 1st. Payment is accepted in cash or check at the farm each week. You can pay for multiple weeks at once or you can pay when you come to pick up your family share. Picking up your Farm Box
Farm boxes are available for pick up between 2:00 to 6:00 PM each Tuesday from June 5, 2012 to November 6, 2012 in the white LaFavre Barn in the Veggielution farm at theEmma Prusch Park at 647 South King Road, San José, CA 95116. Families are encouraged to bring produce home in their own bags.
Sponsor Shares
Due to our expansion of Family Shares, we have a limited number of Sponsor Shares. We are offering 5 Sponsor Shares for the 2012 season. Five dedicated individuals or families will make a commitment to subsidize the cost of our 30 Family Shares by paying $750 to receive a produce box each week for the entire Farm Box season. Your money will by you a beautiful box of weekly Veggielution produce, as well as provide lower cost produce to other community members. We will accept the first 5 people who commit to the program and submit payment. Apply by emailing your name, phone number, and address to info@veggielution.org. Payment is due by Friday May 25, 2011.

1. By mailing a check made to “Veggielution” at 647 S. King Rd. San José, CA 95116.
2. Come to the farm and dropping off a check.
