Every second Saturday of the month, bring your young ones to Veggielution, where we’ll provide engaging and creative activities for kids. Family Day is a great way to get outside and enjoy the sunshine while exploring the many different parts of gardening, nutrition, and our environment. Here at the farm we’ll discover how much fun it is to grow flowers, fruits and veggies while we check out the insects, soil, and other natural processes that make gardening possible.
Because Family Day is held during our Saturday volunteer workday and the farm can get very busy, we ask that there be one adult per every two children, and that guardians accompany their child at all times. We want to ensure a safe and fun experience for everyone. We invite families to stay and participate in farm tasks and our potluck lunch.
