Veggielution empowers youth and adults from diverse backgrounds to create a sustainable food system in San José. Our urban farm engages the community by providing access to healthy and local food, creating youth leadership opportunities, and developing creative solutions to social and environmental justice issues.

We will work with you to tailor your internship to meet your specific skills and needs. We want you to learn and grow as you contribute to the work of the organization.

Time Commitment: We require a minimum of 175 hours from each intern. This works out to about 6-8 hrs a week for 6 months or 13 hrs a week for 3 months. We can be flexible on the length of time it takes you to fulfill the minimum hour requirement.

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. You will get farm fresh produce, class credit (if applicable), new skills, job references or a letter of recommendation, and a great experience.

We are a startup nonprofit looking for energetic, motivated individuals who want to join our team and make a difference in their world.
